We started our first personal narratives today. Here are some of the comments I hear from the students...
"I can't wait to be a writer"
"Nothing ever happens to me. I have nothing to write about"
Me: "When did your story take place?" Student: "I love Disney world!"
Note to self and any parents out there reading....we need to work on when, where, what and why questions. :) I love teaching writing.
